Trap


I am a crossbreed of Ukrainian Ashkenazim and Greek antiquaries.

I grew up in a family of baroque music lovers (pipe organ, cembalo) and fans of science fiction. The beholder of my work might discover the lively and vehement Mediterranean as well as the tragic and fatalistic “saudade” of Eastern Europe.

The plastic and the pictorial! A
sudden leap, a syncopation leaving (behind) silence, the instrument of tranquility, and respite before

the grand flood.

Against the background of a mighty and violent vital thrust, throughput, pulsations and combustions are triggering my artistic expression. Stimuli always embedded in music and rhythm. I apply the slow and the fast as well as ear-splitting noise, easing the tension in an
almost dissident or rather spontaneous (little calculated) manner.

It is the sincerity of the sensation that weaves my logorrhea
